Manager Strategic Growth Platforms

Location: Hershey, PA or Remote

 

Summary:

The Manager Strategic Growth Platforms will be an integral part of Hershey’s vision to become a Leading Snacking Powerhouse. The primary responsibility is to develop a multi-year value creation pipeline and contribute to accelerating growth.. This individual will lead defining strategic & profitable white space and unmet demand, curating and shepherding ideas from inception to the marketplace. Initially focused on commercial investment (promotional allowances & media) process, and optimization across mediums. This individual will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to understand various components of current process and collaborating to optimize for growth. Responsible for providing recommendations based on strategic frameworks and analytics and executing complex analyses. This will require strong collaboration with other functions including Sales Planning, Revenue Management, Media, Packtypes, Finance, and Marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•Identify pockets of growth by researching, validating, supporting, facilitating, advising, and driving initiatives •Partner with Confection leaders to ensure successful scaling of product and non-product commercial solutions •Create and develop new commercial concepts to further develop strategy •Design, launch, and manage in-market tests to prove out scalable concepts •Executes complex and comprehensive analyses to support the development of commercial investment process •Develops comprehensive tracking and reporting development to support critical organizational strategic pillars •Assists in the development, management, and execution of a technology roadmap     Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree required •Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Consumer Goods or Consulting •Strong understanding of business strategy and objectives •Strong communicator with ability to lead directly and cross-functionally •Ability to cultivate and create excitement and engagement in the organization •Strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, SAP, IRI, etc.), with proven ability to synthesize multiple data sources •Problem-solving mentality, intellectually curious, strong critical thinking skills     #LI-MH #LI-Remote
