Business Analyst - work on our strategic AI customs project

Join a new and international team.

You will be part of the Group Customs department responsible for delivering customs services to the entire DSV organisation worldwide. The aim is to increase productivity and scope with regard to any customs activity, and in this role, you will be dealing with specific scenarios where DSV needs to put new processes in place or improve current ones.

 

Be part of our customs platform development and implementation

In our team, we are working on 2 major projects where you will be linked to our AI customs solutions project, designing a platform that can create customs declarations for any DSV country in the world. Based in either Denmark, Poland or the UK, you will be supporting our business product owner on the platform rollout during both development and implementation, translating business requirements into software requirements.

 

Moreover, you will be creating documentation that enables the transition from implementation to post-implementation assistance and provide superuser training and guidance where necessary. Specifically, you will:

• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact delivery/implementation 
• Collaborate with our product owner, Global IT, local management, and other key stakeholders to align goals and priorities
• Work with platform users to identify new software requirements from the business
• Communicate the development requests in a clear and concise manner to development teams and assist in specifying future business requirements
• Evaluate the gathered requirements to assist our BPO in identifying the functional and non-functional requirements for the project
• Assist in analysing current business processes, designing future processes, and establishing acceptance criteria both from business, customer and group levels

 

Customs experience and process development skills

We are looking for a new colleague who may be a BCM with customs experience – or a customs manager with process experience. Moreover, you:

• May have experience in logistics
• Are able to translate business requests for development into software requests
• Most likely have had some experience in creating customs declarations
• Hopefully have some knowledge of general customs procedures
• Are fluent in English
