What You’ll Do

As a Customer Communications Specialist, you’ll be on the front lines—responding to customers, coordinating shipments, solving problems, and making sure things run smoothly from quote to delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer emails quickly and professionally—on average within 10 minutes
• Review quote requests and provide accurate, timely pricing using internal tools
• Update shipment tracking and planning worksheets with customer information
• Support your team with real-time routing decisions for airfreight shipments
• Understand how freight moves across the country and help plan the best shipping paths
• Identify and resolve minor customer issues (e.g., delays or schedule changes)
• Follow established playbooks and SOPs to ensure quality and consistency
• Learn where you fit into the bigger logistics process—and why it matters
• Step in to help teammates when needed—we’re all in this together

What We’re Looking For

We’re not expecting decades of experience—we’re looking for someone with the right mindset and raw potential. This is a fast-paced, high-accountability role where your attention to detail and responsiveness will make a real impact.

This position is Full-Time, onsite, and in person, in our Carlsbad, CA office.

Monday – Friday 8am-7pm, we can accommodate a fulltime schedule within these hours (8-5, 9-6, 10-7)

• Comfortable with MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Able to type 20+ words per minute, most correspondence is over email.
• Eager to grow, we’ll teach you the business if you bring the hustle
• Regular over-time is available

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Basic knowledge of airfreight or airline routing
• Experience in customer service or logistics (not required, but nice to have)
• Exposure to platforms like CargoWise (we’ll train you if not)
