The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Procurement Agent (Level 2 or 3) to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, MO.

This Procurement Agent role will be responsible for procuring COTS (Commercial off-the-shelf) software licenses and related services for the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

• Negotiating Software License Agreements/Enterprise License Agreements with Original Equipment Manufacturers.
• Collaborating with Program Managers, Legal and other business units to evaluate software needs and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships including negotiations, contract terms, pricing and service agreements.
• Prepares, negotiates and leads all elements of the contract, including negotiation strategies, pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements

Other Position Responsibilities to include:

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years’ experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Experience working both independently and in team environments

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
• Ability to excel at unique problem solving and multi-tasking of urgent issues
• Experience working in fast paced environment with strict deadlines

Level 3

• 3+ years’ experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Experience working both independently and in team environments

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Level 2: $60,350 - $74,550 USD

Level 3: $74,800 - $92,400 USD
