What You Will Do:
- Works with production and warehouse supervision to make safe repairs to equipment
- Performs regularly scheduled preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and monthly safety checks
- Makes repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the e-mail work order system
- Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded
- Other duties as assigned
Position Details:
- Plant location: Martinsburg, WV
- Work week and shift: 3rd shift, Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6am
- Compensation package offered: $29.59 / hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- 1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment
- 1 year of experience with PLC based applications in an industrial environment
- No immigration sponsorship provided
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
- Able to work in difficult situations such as confined spaces, heat and in high places
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on industrial applications or equivalent job experience in electricity, power distribution, industrial electrical wiring, mechanics, machine operations, general plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning and/or boiler operations
- Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologies and management concepts
- Working knowledge of industrial maintenance procedures and methods
- Experience with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves and rigging
- Experience in a TPM or Lean Six Sigma environment
