About the role:
The Expansion Growth team is looking for a founding team member to help accelerate pipeline and revenue growth from our existing customers. The team has a direct impact on Samsara’s long-term growth goals and a blue ocean of opportunities in both mid-market and enterprise segment customers.
As the team manager for Expansion Growth, you will help shape, build, and scale go-to-market strategy, programs, and tools that increase our customers' lifetime value. This role is for you if you thrive by enabling a team to solve problems in a principled and data-driven way, want to make an impact in a fast-growing segment, enjoy working with various teams to up-level B2B marketing journeys, and love experimenting with new ideas to propel growth.
This role can be office-based or fully remote in the US and Canada.
In this role, you will:
- Coach and develop a high-performing team of 2 reports from day 1; build and scale the team to fuel future expansion growth
- Drive pipeline and revenue growth by identifying valuable customer segments and translating experiments into scalable marketing programs
- Strategize and execute lifecycle campaigns with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Customer Outcomes, and Sales
- Define strategies for data, tools, and infrastructure to ensure best-in-class marketing journeys for existing customers
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 4+ years in growth, management consulting, finance, analytics, marketing, or a related area
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, python, and/or other data analysis tools
- 1+ year of people management experience
- Experience using quantitative analysis to identify growth opportunities and drive revenue impact
- Experience building and managing cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to succinctly communicate with stakeholders and key executives
An ideal candidate also has:
- Experience with the following marketing areas: B2B, lifecycle, or account-based marketing (ABM)
- Experience executing marketing campaigns
- Advanced Salesforce experience
- BigQuery experience
- BS/BA in a quantitative field
