About the role

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Epic Healthy Planet Analyst with expertise in Compass Rose  modules for our healthcare client in Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, build, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic’s population health and interoperability tools. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare workflows, data integration, and Epic system functionality to ensure seamless information exchange, care coordination, and population health management. This is a remote, direct hire opportunity with occasional travel required. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Epic system configurations and workflows.

  • Design, build, test, and implement enhancements for Healthy Planet, Compass Rose.

  • Support population health initiatives, quality reporting, and interoperability strategies across the organization.

  • Maintain data integrity, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and promote secure data sharing.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating as necessary to Epic or internal technical teams.

  • Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions to ensure adoption and optimal use of Epic functionality.

  • Participate in system upgrades, releases, and optimization projects.

  • Provide on-call support as scheduled to address urgent system issues.

Qualifications

  • Epic certification(s) in Healthy Planet 

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 3+ years of Epic application build and support experience.

  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and population health initiatives.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Epic Slicer Dicer, Reporting Workbench, and Clarity/Caboodle reporting.

  • Knowledge of quality reporting programs (e.g., CMS, HEDIS, ACO metrics).

  • Familiarity with payer integration and care management workflows.

Benefits

Compensation is based on the candidate’s qualifications and aligned with the client’s established pay scale for this role: $100,000 - $115,000
