About the role
The Relationship Banker II processes routine and complex financial transactions for members in person and virtually, as well as follow up activities by phone and email. The Representative is focused on building strong relationships with new and existing members. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Job Duties:
- Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts, including business, trusts, fiduciary, IRA accounts
- Process routine and complex financial transactions for members quickly and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, IRA), in compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Provide the highest quality of service to all members; promptly address member concerns and/or escalate to leadership when appropriate
- Engage with members to understand needs and recommend financial solutions that best fit their goals, based on First Tech’s suite of product offerings
- Participate in campaigns, cross-selling and making referrals when appropriate using the online tracking and CRM systems
- Perform account maintenance activities including updating member contact and personal information
- Perform follow-up activities and outbound calls for new and existing members
- Actively partner with other business units in sales and service activities
- Participate in orientation of new representatives as required
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum eighteen (18) months in a fast-paced sales or customer service role within the financial services industry preferred
- Ability to listen to members’ needs and provide tailored product recommendations
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
- Skilled to work in fast-paced customer service and sales environment without sacrificing accuracy and service
- Aptitude for learning a variety of computer systems using technology to solve member issues
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification/License: Notary preferred
