Job Description:

The Florida Museum of Natural History is seeking a part-time OPS team member in the Randell Research Center.  The Randell Research Center (RRC) is a part of the Florida Museum of Natural History.  Situated on Pine Island, FL in Lee County, the RRC encompasses 67 acres at the heart of the Pineland archaeological site, a massive Calusa shell mound site extending across more than 100 acres from the mangrove coastline. We are looking for a part-time employee to work at the RRC’s Calusa Heritage Trail. Our new team member would be responsible for welcoming people to the Calusa Heritage Trail, handling transactions in the gift store, keeping the gift shop and classroom tidy, and cleaning the restrooms.  A good candidate would be an effective communicator, a person who can multi-task, and one who can follow written and verbal directions. There will be times when this employee would be required to work alone.  Basic mathematical skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to use an iPad or tablet to complete store transactions and complete credit card compliance training are required. 

12-25 hours a week.

Working on some weekends and holidays will be required.

Advertised Salary:

$15.00 hourly
