Data Manager

Build business intelligence that influences data-driven business decisions.

As a data manager at Gallup, you will use your understanding of financial and human capital data to build the data structures underpinning corporate reporting and business intelligence systems. Through rigorous design and testing, you will develop the reporting frameworks powering complex business intelligence dashboards in an Oracle Cloud-based system. You will collaborate with technology and finance teams to understand business goals, requirements and challenges; evaluate data from a variety of sources; build connections; and develop the derivative information that leads to concise and actionable insights for leaders and stakeholders. You will use your expertise in business intelligence tools, data modeling and data visualization to ensure the accuracy, efficiency and usability of your deliverables.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in management information systems, data analytics, finance or related field required
• At least two years of applied experience in data management or data architecture required
• At least two years of experience in common data management and business intelligence tools and processes, such as SQL, required
• Ability to work at Gallup’s Omaha Riverfront campus at least three days per week required
• Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
• Knowledge of finance or experience working in a finance-driven organization highly preferred
• Experience with Oracle technologies, such as OAC or OBIEE, preferred

Gallup offers a robust benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance options; a 401(k) retirement and savings plan with company matching; and an employee stock ownership program. We also offer an estimated annual salary range of $70K-$90K for this role. Salaries are based on a variety of factors including an individual's education, experience and skills. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses.
