Senior Operations Engineer

Thompson First Group is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer for a direct hire role with a local client in Selbyville, DE.

Candidates that have experience managing and direct plant Project Engineers are encouraged to apply. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the plant Project Engineers in the coordination and management of projects from beginning to end and present turnkey final projects.
• Train, coach and assist plant Project Engineers in the development and completion of projects. Provide mentorship, guidance and hands-on support to cultivate their professional growth and development.
• Advise and direct plant Project Engineers on safety requirements and proper enforcement.
• Assist the Sr. Director Processing Operations in the planning of annual capital budgets and communicate project status.

Skills and Certifications

• 7 – 10 years’ Poultry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial)
• AutoCAD skills.
