Night Watch
Location: 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058
Hourly Pay: $19 to $21
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 9:00 pm - 7:00 am.

Are you a dedicated night owl with a passion for supporting adolescents on their journey to mental wellness? As a Night Watch, you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to support teens aged 12-17 in improving their mental health and well-being. You’ll provide a consistent presence throughout the night, helping with anything from homesickness to emotional challenges. If you're driven by a sense of purpose and ready to contribute to the well-being of others, we invite you to join our team and make a real impact.
Responsibilities
Make an impact by providing mentorship and fostering a safe, engaging environment for teens.
Guide teenagers through evening routines and teach effective coping strategies.
Receive training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention techniques to manage difficult situations.
Oversee facility upkeep, conduct routine safety checks, and complete assigned tasks.
Document progress notes daily and communicate key updates to the Shift Supervisor, Program Director, and clinical staff, as needed.
Qualifications
Age: 21+
Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED is required; associate’s or bachelor’s in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 1+ year working with adolescents in behavioral health, education, coaching, or mentorship preferred.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid preferred (training provided).
Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screening and federal/state background checks per Missouri law.
