Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this position as an Administrative Care Partner/Unit Secretary, you will work under direct supervision of the 4E nurse managers to:

  • High School Diploma/GED certificate
  • Provide clerical support to the Administrative Nurse of the designated unit.
  • Help with phone calls and call lights
  • Help with admission/discharge process
  • Assist patient with admission procedure, during transfer procedure, with discharge procedure.
Salary Range: $25.30-$33.35

We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with: 

  • Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred. 
  • Recent ward clerk and/or appropriate clerical experience in an acute hospital environment, preferred. 
  • Skill in evaluating and reporting various kinds of emergent information pertinent to the functioning of an inpatient care unit. 
  • Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner when there are competing requirements and a heavy workload.
