The successful candidate for this role will own the ordering and delivery process of several of our model lines.  Working in cooperation with our House of Brands local product teams, the specification and ordering Central team based in the UK, the US pricing team and our field team, the successful candidate should strive to be the expert for the products assigned to his role.

 

What you will be doing:

• Analyzing and validate specification and pricing to ensure vehicles are released in line with JLR US wholesale commitment.
• Proactively identifying feature constraints and order shortfalls and recommending mitigating actions to the local and global product teams.
• Working closely with the central order control team to optimize production for the US market.
• Working with our Port Installed Option Team and Port Operations to ensure we deliver vehicle with the appropriate level of local equipment.
• Coordinating local signoff of invoicing, Moroney and any other compliant documents as necessary.
• Working with product team and finance to clear system errors and ensure wholesales can happen without incident.
• Partnering with global team, local product, finance and logistics on timing and ordering of special limited editions.
• Addressing any retailers’ questions specifically related to the model lines assigned to the role in a positive and constructive manner.
• Performing other duties as required.

 

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years work experience; automotive would be a plus.
• Need to be highly detailed oriented.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Must have strong business acumen, and the ability to work with people at varying levels within the organization.
• Need to be able to work well in a team environment.

 

 

Schedule:  Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

Recruitment Salary Range:  $92,000 - $115,000

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
