WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A core part of the Brand Marketing Operations team (which is charged with overseeing end-to-end Brand Marketing process in GC), Brand Planning helps shape and drive the company’s growth agenda by leading the seasonal planning processes across GC marketing teams, aligning enterprise leadership to make our biggest opportunities a reality, and spearheading ground-breaking projects across Nike’s diverse businesses.  We are looking for a Brand Planning Professional for the Kids Brand Team as their strategic partner, as well as working with key functions and leaders to develop Nike’s long-term and seasonal plans, and to drive action against aligned Brand priorities.  This role reports into the Director of Brand Planning, GC.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

In this role, you will be responsible for helping to define and align on our priorities across the brand in partnership with the Marketing Leadership Team and other critical functions across the enterprise, as well as an invaluable strategic partner to the Kids Brand Team in driving effectiveness and growth that reflects the enterprises overarching strategy.

You will drive key primary areas of focus.

  • Driving the Offense: At the core of this role, is working closely with the Kids Brand Team as their strategic partner on driving effective strategy, ensuring the landing of the brand’s long-term strategy across the seasons. When leading seasonal marketing work, you will be responsible for a) shaping and driving cross functional/ cross construct alignment (Men’s, Women’s and Kids) for the priorities of each season and b) ensuring clear decisions are landed across key moments in our enterprise planning process to enable our priorities to be resourced and implemented.
  • Creating the Future: This role is also responsible for shaping the future vision of the GC Marketing offense, you will be a strategic partner to the Kids brand marketing team, to ensure the landing of the Business’ Marketing Offense Plans in the market – with effectiveness and ultimately growth.
     

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In your day-to-day work, you will be expected to work very closely with the Kids Brand Team as well as the Global Kids Brand Planning team to ensure the latest in terms of global strategy as well as Geo Needs to enable the most effective and efficient strategic planning for Nike Kids in China. As Seasonal lead, you will work with senior and peer level internal partners to cultivate collaboration, strategic alignment, and integrated planning across all functions.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in marketing / creative strategy, strategic consulting, business development, corporate strategy or related fields.
  • Proven ability to shape with consumer insights and industry trends into actionable strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive alignment across matrixes of teams.
  • Proven success to pull together diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussions, to drive critical processes and management routines.
  • Mastery of business communication tools and verbal/ written communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change through storytelling.
  • Strategic enterprise thinking with experience supporting senior/ executive leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
