National Project Risk Leader - Construction

We are seeking a senior leader to join our Marsh Construction team as the National Construction Project Risk Leader. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The National Project Risk Leader will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Marsh's construction practice. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the construction project risk industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Requires experience and a substantial knowledge of risk and insurance solutions associated with construction projects with a concentration in wrap-up concepts and administration practices. The ideal candidate must have experience of construction casualty, property (builders risk), environmental, professional and performance risks and the associated risk solutions. 

We will count on you to:

  • Maximize the success of Marsh by optimizing the satisfaction of clients and enrolled contractors, and improving client and contractor experience by driving Wrap Up Service Center efficiencies
  • Promote a client-focused culture, ensuring exceptional service and exceeding client expectations while leveraging the full range of MMC resources for optimal client solutions.
  • Actively develop talent within the team, fostering an inclusive environment and supporting career development initiatives to build a strong leadership pipeline
  • Build business plans that push boundaries and capitalize on growth opportunities by integrating Construction Project Risk expertise across the practice.
  • Maintain communication with Marsh Advisory and applicable Marsh Risk Practices (Casualty, Finpro, Environmental, Builders Risk) to keep them apprised of project developments and service issues
  • Implement and monitor short- and long-term organizational goals and objectives to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies.

What you need to have:

  • Over 15 years of industry experience with a proven record of successful collaboration in a matrix team environment.
  • OCIP and CCIP experience required
  • A valid Property and Casualty (P&C) license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not mandatory.
