Senior Functional Analyst

As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will join Keystone Solutions as a consultant, playing a vital role in shaping our client’s applications within the energy transition sector. You will engage in tasks that include analyzing business needs, facilitating discussions, and finding consensus on potential solutions, all while working closely with our client. Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Participate in the evolution of client applications by assessing business needs.
• Conduct discussions and organize workshops to articulate possible solutions and build consensus as necessary.
• Determine feasible solutions aligned with IT architecture while considering end-to-end application and technology chains.
• Validate these solutions with the client business unit and act as the intermediary between the business and our development partners.
• Document analyses in a functional design, following the development lifecycle closely.
• Be responsible for requirement analysis and functional analysis using methods and tools in place, such as UML and Enterprise Architect.
• Challenge technical solutions proposed by partners.
• Verify the quality of development deliverables, manage testing phases, and be involved in the implementation process.
• Maintain updated reference documentation and coordinate, develop, and execute test plans to ensure applications meet production quality expectations.
• Collaborate with developers in application management and assess, analyze, and document identified bugs while facilitating their resolution.
• Engage in problem management and provide level-two support in case of incidents.

Context:

The Digital Business Solutions (DBS) department supports all business activities by ensuring that clients are equipped with autonomous IT systems aligned with evolving needs and technologies. The Energy Transition team plays a critical role in managing applications that support energy transition efforts and assist vulnerable clients. We seek a Senior Functional Analyst to help develop and support these critical applications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a functional analyst (minimum of 2 years).
• Demonstrated experience in testing and analysis (minimum of 2 years).
• Proficient in SQL and database consulting to support analyses.
• Experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with XML, web services, and APIs or SOAP.
• Expertise in technical analysis (minimum of 5 years).
• Knowledge of ITIL is a plus.
• Fluency in English (B2) and strong proficiency in either French or Dutch.
