Inside the Role
The Marketing Fleet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating vehicle logistics, asset compliance, and maintenance needs for the Freightliner and Western Star marketing truck fleet. This position is part of the Marketing Operations team, a shared services group within the New Truck Marketing & Strategy team. This is a pivotal role that ensures marketing trucks are in top shape for customer and dealer events and tradeshow needs.As the Marketing Fleet Coordinator, you will be the primary owner of the marketing fleet, including units domiciled at the American Center for Mobility (ACM) in Ypsilanti, MI, Fort Mill, SC and Portland, OR. This role requires close coordination and collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders including Training and Product Marketing, Detroit Field Sales Engineering, as well as external partners such as ACM, transportation companies, dealerships and detailing companies.
In addition, the Marketing Fleet Coordinator serves as on-site support for customer and dealer Ride & Drive events at the American Center for Mobility, working with marketing & sales colleagues to help ensure a seamless experience for event attendees. Position offers a starting salary range of $71,000.00 - $91,000.00 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
· Coordinate marketing trucks for ACM events, including preparing & detailing trucks, moving trucks into place, post-event truck moves and cleanup.
· Maintain and manage truck move-in / out schedule, managing move requests for multiple locations.
· Provide on-site truck support including assisting with driver scheduling, troubleshooting maintenance issues, and maintaining detailed documentation.
· Maintain fleet compliance including coordinating maintenance and recall issues, conducting monthly mileage reporting, and ensuring DOT compliance.
· Conduct routine truck checks for damage/faults, including ordering parts and making necessary appointments for repairs, ensuring the fleet is in “show ready” status (ex -must always be clean, free of damage, etc.)
· Serve as DTNA’s on-site ACM coordinator, identifying and escalating any ad-hoc issues to management.
· Assist with ad-hoc Ride & Drive event and tradeshow duties including but not limited to supporting safety demonstrations and coordinating truck support at offsite locations as needed.
Knowledge You Should Bring
· Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience, OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
· Be customer focused (internal and external stakeholders).
· Possess a high level of attention to detail and strong follow-up.
· Ability to solve problems by leveraging resources and available network.
· Work collaboratively with teams outside of their direct reporting structure.
· Work independently without direct daily supervision.
· Be comfortable working closely with external vendors and interacting with customers and dealers.
· Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and proactively identify and escalate topics when needed.
· Work a flexible schedule when support is needed with early morning or evening event or truck delivery/detailing activities.
· A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one in the first 6 months of employment is required.
