JOB SUMMARY

Supervise the day to day operation of the warehouse or a specific warehouse function.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being always enforced and adhered to.
• Provide continual evaluation of the group’s processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
• Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include training, performance evaluation and employee relations.
• Assist in maintaining KPI’s to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Assist in inventory accuracy.
• Strive for continuous improvement in processes to increase throughput, improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the supervision of the warehouse, shipping and receiving employees.
• Reports periodically on departmental key performance indicators.
• Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2+years supervisor experience
• Must have previous warehouse experience – Industrial/Manufacturing preferred.
• Computer proficiency required - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• ERP/WMS system experience required.
• Forklift, JIB and Overhead crane experience.
• May operate Class II & IV Forklifts (Hyster 50-170 & Order Picker / Manlift / Reach truck).
• Reads and writes in English.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Must be willing & able to travel - Limited (5%) required.
• Must be able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
• Ability to drive teamwork, and communicate effectively to subordinates.
• Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 45 lbs. Regularly.
• Must be able to safety lift up to 45 pounds.
• Must wear a Fall Protection Harness when performing work at heights.
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
