Requisition Summary

Paccar Financial Corporation is the North American financial services subsidiary of one of the world’s largest independent heavy-duty truck manufacturers. The chosen candidate will serve as key liaison between Paccar Financial Corp (PFC)’s Accounting and Business teams by leading the Division’s financial planning & analysis, budget and forecast processes and driving cross-functional effort in adopting new systems and processes in financial planning, reporting and analysis. This role also leads the Account Payable team of two permanent staff. The position reports to the Director of Accounting of Paccar Financial Corp and provides leadership and mentorship to the Accounting group.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Liaise with Paccar Financial Corporation’s business groups to develop credible and accurate monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Build trusting relationship with Paccar Financial Corp’s IT group, core system support teams and business leadership to support implementation and maintenance of key business and financial reporting systems and ensure timely issues resolution.
• Apply accounting and financial reporting knowledge, drive collaborative effort within Paccar Financial Corp’s Accounting groups in U.S. and Canada to adopt application and processes that streamline financial reporting processes and enable effective business and data analytics.
• Oversee daily accounting functions of Accounts Payable group, including successful recruitment, retention and development of AP team.
• Manage various general accounting cycles and subledgers, including account payable, cash management/treasury, derivatives and wholesale financing.
• Provide support to PFC’s Financial Reporting team in completing and reviewing internal management reporting and SEC filings including Form 10-Q and 10-K.
• Assist or manage ad-hoc accounting projects or special technical accounting assignments.

Qualifications

• Strong automated system and PC knowledge (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Infinium G/L, SAP G/L or ERP system is preferred
• Experience with Data Analytics tools including SQL Database, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot is a plus
• Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills in addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a strong internal control and SOX background gained in a similar position or at a Big 4 or national accounting firm
• Must be flexible and have the ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
• Must have the ability to prioritize activities to meet deadlines as required

Education

• BA/BS in Accounting required
• CPA designation required
