Job Title: Pharmacy Technician ( $2500 Sign on Bonus)

Work schedule: Must be able to work both AM/PM 10 hour shifts with every other weekend.
Rotating AM/PM
630am-5pm
7am-530pm
1030am-9pm
1130am-10pm

What you will do:

Under the supervision of a staff pharmacist, the technician is responsible for providing technical support to pharmacists at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. This includes, but is not limited to, the preparation, packaging and delivery of medications for both inpatients and outpatients.

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a pharmacy tech program preferred.

  • Registered as a pharmacy technician in the State of Wisconsin

  • One year experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.

  • Good interpersonal and customer relations skills are needed to communicate effectively with various hospital personnel and families and to gather and exchange factual pharmaceutical information.

  • Ability to work well under pressure due to time constraints and varying workloads.

  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.

  • Ability to operate a computer in order to generate lists, process medication orders, enter charges/credits, generate labels, retrieve patient information, and handle automat
