Senior Product Manager Automation (m/f/d)

<p>To further drive digital health protection and enable more people to access meaningful preventive care, we are strengthening our Product Team. We are therefore looking for a <strong>Senior Product Manager Automation (m/f/d)</strong> to join us full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday). Ideally, you are <strong>based in the Berlin/Brandenburg area</strong> - but if not, you are still very welcome to apply.</p><p></p><p><strong>Your role in a team:</strong></p><ul><li>Own and evolve the claims automation product area, ensuring a smooth and efficient claims experience for customers and claims agents.</li><li>Collaborate with the Operations Team to analyze current claims handling workflows and identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort.</li><li>Work closely with engineers, data team, and designers to build intelligent solutions that support claims agents’ productivity and accelerate claims processing.</li><li>Define clear product goals, KPIs, and success metrics to measure automation impact (e.g., claims resolution time, automation rate, agent productivity).</li><li>Translate strategic initiatives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and technical feasibility for the engineering team.</li><li>Develop and communicate a product roadmap for claims automation, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term innovation.</li><li>Champion data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics and insights to guide prioritization and validate product improvements.</li><li>Ensure smooth delivery using Scrum, partnering with the Engineering Manager and Scrum Master to drive iteration planning and execution.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What you need to be successful:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner in a technical product environment (ideally in insurance, fintech, or B2B SaaS).</li><li>Strong track record in workflow automation, AI/ML integration, or process optimization projects.</li><li>Experience managing backend-heavy features and technical products, working closely with engineering teams to ship robust solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in breaking down complex workflows into automatable steps and delivering iterative solutions with measurable impact.</li><li>Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle management.</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to define, track, and interpret KPIs related to automation and efficiency gains.</li><li>Curiosity and practical knowledge around AI technologies (e.g., NLP, RPA, workflow orchestration tools).</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English; German is a strong plus.</li><li>Based in Germany (ideally Berlin).</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with process automation tools, workflow engines, or AI-based decision-making systems.</li><li>Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements and align cross-functional teams on execution.</li><li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills – you thrive in an environment of multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.</li><li>Pragmatic approach: you value shipping incremental improvements that deliver measurable outcomes over big-bang launches.</li><li>Resilience and adaptability – you iterate fast, learn from setbacks, and continuously improve.</li></ul><p></p><h3><strong>Why getolo?</strong></h3><p>🌴 <strong>Salary &amp; Vacation</strong></p><ul><li>Attractive fixed salary</li><li>Start with 28 vacation days, with an increase every two years (capped at 30 days).
