About ATAC

Textron Systems - ATAC provides tactical flight training and adversary aggressor services for U.S. Navy, Marine and Air Force pilots, and is the only organization certified to train the Navy’s TOPGUN program. ATAC operates simultaneously across eight sites and two continents and comprises the world’s largest outsourced civilian, tactical airborne training organization and proudly provides the highest quality live training to Squadrons, Air Wings, and Battle Groups. Summary

This position reports to the Director of Maintenance for the efficient and effective use of planning and scheduling all resources to conduct maintenance activities which result in minimum downtime and maximum productivity

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for cataloging, recording, and tracking engine and aircraft flight log data and component cards for all assigned Mirage F1 aircraft and ATAR 9K50 engines.
• Leads a team of database and aviation records administrators, coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of all paper records and electronic databases.
• Maintain the Aviation Management Program and provide training to appropriate employees
• Responsible for the full implementation of RAMCO software for TBO items
• Ensure accurate and updated aircraft status sheets and inform the proper employees of upcoming time change, overhaul, inspection and repair components to include ejection seats
• Accurately project future conditions in order to monitor and prepare for aircraft isochronal depot/phase inspections and subsequent required replacement parts in order to streamline the maintenance process
• Manage production planning and scheduling of material flow to meet production schedules and customer requirements 
• Analyze demand requirements to identify production and supply bottlenecks and recommend actions for resolution
• Act as a liaison between the maintenance department and operation planning
• Actively participates as a senior member in inspection pre-dock meetings to highlight snags that may slow production, i.e. ordering parts, TBO items, NDI’s

Qualifications

• Demonstratable years of senior leadership and operational experience in aviation maintenance management and aircraft records supervision required
• Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and lead employees in support of high-tempo operations, multi-faceted operations across several geographic locations
• Military aviation maintenance administration expertise is highly desired
