We Are Hiring: Lab Services Specialist Phlebotomist - Brookfield 0.5 FTE 

 

Schedule Details:   Monday: 12:00-5:45pm Tuesday: 12:00-7:15pm Friday: 12:00-5:30pm, every other Saturday 7:45am-11:00am

What You Will Do:

The Lab Service Specialist performs phlebotomy on clinic patients.

 

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Draw/obtain blood specimen from patients by mean of venipuncture or capillary collection
• Makes positive patient identification
• Explains the procedure and purpose of steps being performed
• Pulls orders from EMR, enters orders into EMR from outside providers, links orders to appointments, assign venipuncture and handling charges to the order in EMR

 

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program at a technical training school or equivalent experience (2 years in a clinical lab environment) *CA #LI-MO
