About the role

Be a part of the top-performing member service team at Missouri's largest defined benefit pension plan. At PSRS/PEERS, our Information and Records Management department is a close-knit team of dedicated professionals who work to ensure incoming information and records for Retirement System members are received, organized and managed accurately and securely.


Salary: $42,126 to $47,392

Job Type: Full-time with benefits

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri. Opportunity for limited telecommuting once training is complete.


About PSRS/PEERS

PSRS/PEERS is the largest defined benefit pension plan in Missouri with more than 315,000 members. We work in partnership with Missouri public school districts to provide retirement security for Missouri's public school teachers and education employees.

Most of our 173 employees work out of our recently remodeled/expanded building located at 3210 West Truman Boulevard in Jefferson City. Our office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and many positions have scheduling flexibility within those hours. We provide state-of-the-art technology and security, with comfortable, ergonomic working spaces and collaborative areas throughout the building. Employees enjoy ample on-site parking and a flexible, employee-centered work environment.


About the Job

As an Information and Records Management Specialist, you will play an essential role in ensuring our members' retirement records are both correct and complete. You will analyze member records, respond to member questions and requests for information, process and verify member information changes and forms, and assist with incoming and outgoing mail.

Records Management Specialists also serve as a resource for overflow/high volume of calls and chats in the Information Center.


Job Requirements

Our ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least two years office experience.
