Journeyman I start at an hourly rate of $38.25/hr.

Job Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Eligible for employment in the US.
- Minimum high school graduate, GED equivalent or equivalent work experience
- At least three (3) years of work experience in the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT
- Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
- Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)
- Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills
- Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
- Undergo an job related health assessment as a condition of employment
- Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
- Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
- Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
- Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
- Wear required safety equipment
The Job You Will Perform:
This position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Install machine and equipment according to lay-out plan, blueprints and other drawings
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, dial indicators and laser alignment equipment
- Install machinery, new and existing equipment
- Repair and lubricate machine and equipment
- Refurbish/maintain valves, pumps, gear boxes, bearings, agitators, conveyors, turbines, paper machines, lime kiln
- Measure for bearing clearance and shaft diameters
- Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues
- Fabricate structural materials as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Preferred Candidates will have:
- Associates degree or certification(s) in any of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or PIPEFITTING
- At least five (5) years of work experience in any two of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or PIPEFITTING
- Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
