*This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the US.*

Summary of This Role

Plans and coordinates the publication of internal and external marketing materials. Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads text for marketing communications, including but not limited to newsletters, brochures, ad copy, product information releases, internet content, white papers, and other requested materials. Ensures consistency in content and style in communications. Creates and manages document publication schedules for external and internal releases to various audiences with appropriately written content.

What Part Will You Play?

  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to oversee multiple publications for release to internal/external audiences and adjust content for maximum effectiveness based upon intended communication method (internet, intranet-LAN, white paper, ad, magazines, press releases, etc.). Publishes and administers editorial calendar and production schedules.

  • Assesses and enhances material produced to ensure an error free publication, correcting grammar and ensuring clear messaging on websites, brochures, flyers, advisements, etc. Mentors less experienced editors by reviewing and recommending changes to publications.

  • Facilitates editing process of graphics, headlines, and website links to support publication content ensuring functionality and consistent branding theme. Acts as a liaison and SME to all levels of management on writing marketing communications based upon objectives and target audience.

  • Oversees the validation process for obtaining all disclosures and signed releases for use of third party information or content referencing third party including trademarks, copyrights, business names, and photo releases, etc. Ensures all disclosures and releases are signed, received in a timely manner, and are retained for the required period of time, etc.

  • Oversees editorial boards for internal and external constituents to ensure that the business voice is captured across multiple channels (internet, intranet-LAN, white paper, ad, etc.).

  • Oversees marketing library changes to ensure content is accurate and the most recent concerning new publication releases. Administers audit process of publications to ensure adherence to company standards or regulations. Recommends best practices to team members.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field

  • Typically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant Exp

  • Experience in writing, editing, or desktop publishing for a large corporation or global company


Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant Exp

  • Marketing technology, project management, copyrighting/content development, editing, managing on-line tools and software; financial industry or financial technology services industry experience preferred
