Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary job duties will be focused on viral diagnostics and research. Specifically, the postdoc will be expected to:
Conduct sequence analysis to understand the molecular epidemiology of viruses of veterinary importance
Perform animal study and laboratory testing to characterize the pathogenicity and cross-protection of viruses of interest
Conduct other assigned side projects
Required Minimum Qualifications:
PhD degree in virology, molecular biology, or other related fields.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of previous postdoc training in veterinary virus diagnostics and research
