Job DetailsJob Location: Santa Rosa - Santa Rosa, CA 95401Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $21.82 - $31.94 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: Health CareUnder the general direction of the Title VI Manager, the Kitchen Aide/Senior Site Transporter assists in the Senior Nutrition site at the Sonoma County Indian Health Project, Inc (SCIHP) with the preparation of meals, drives a van, or other vehicle to transport seniors, clients, trainees, or SCIHP personnel. The purpose of this position is to ensure access and serve food to senior program participants and to help clean the site after meals.
QualificationsQualifications:


High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must possess a current California Food Handler Card or acquire within first month of employment.
Knowledge of and ability to comply with all applicable State and County regulations regarding food storage, food preparation. Maintain sanitary, organized conditions in all food preparation, food serving, and food storage areas.
Assists with preparing and packaging meals. Assists with the serving of lunch.
Possession of a valid California Driver’s License. Must provide DMV printout.
Clean DMV record for the purpose of being insurable by the agency’s insurance carrier.
Ability to operate a vehicle and assists others into and out of a vehicle.
Transports elders to and from Senior Nutrition Center at appropriate times. Consistently records destinations and mileage.
Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
Must be able to observe policies, rules, and client confidentiality.
Ability to maintain inventory and organize supplies, assess what is needed, then order and restock.
Must be CPR certified or attend a SCIHP CPR training to become certified.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background investigation.
