Audit Senior Accountant

We offer a wide range of compliance services and specialty financial and consulting expertise including Audit and Accounting, Specialized Tax Projects, Merger and Acquisitions, and Business Valuations.

We have an exceptional opportunity for an Audit Senior Accountant. The Audit Senior at Brady Ware performs most engagements with a minimum of supervision, guides and instructs a number of team members in work to be performed, reviews the work completed and directs necessary revisions. General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct desk reviews and various on-site audits
• Conduct research in order to determine billing and reimbursement compliance
• Conduct all phases of the audit including planning and research, risk assessment, fieldwork, reporting of findings and other procedures, as required
• Review applicable Federal or State policies and regulations associated to each specific audit type prior to performing the audit
• Prepare working papers to document scope and findings of audit in accordance with government program regulations and AICPA standards
• Maintain thorough electronic documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA
• 2–3 years audit experience in public accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and GAAS standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with audit software preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Not-for-profit auditing experience
• Project management or strategic planning skills
• Working proficiency in Caseview-Casewear, CCH Fixed Assets
