Production Associate

Overview

The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently hiring seasonal Production Associates to join our vegetable processing facility in Bridgeville, DE. 

Responsibilities

• Works in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Depending on the position, will perform tasks such as sorting, casing, setting up bins, product inspection, removing defective product, and scooping product, clean up, stretch wrap, or busting out product.
• Must follow instructions including company policies, procedures, and safety instructions.
• Must comply with Food Safety Standards (GMP).
• Must keep work area clean and orderly.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Physical
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, pulling, walking on hard surfaces, reaching, and lifting.
  • Will be required to work in a cold or hot environment.
  • Must work at a fast pace with few errors.
  • Require repetitive motion with arms and hands.
  • Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.*

• Must be willing to work extended hours as needed (including weekends and holidays).
