The Business Operations and Analytics Lead of Managed Device and Collaboration Solutions is a strategic role responsible for overseeing operational planning and business performance. With deep expertise in business operations, planning, and financial performance management, the this position plays a critical role in monitoring and ensuring the successful operation of the MDS and MCS business lines. They are accountable for setting and tracking KPIs and OKRs, analysing market data, managing escalations, and aligning operations with financial goals, including full P&L oversight. This role demands a blend of operational rigor, leadership acumen, and customer-centric thinking to scale the business in a fast-evolving digital workplace landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business P&L Performance Management – Oversee business P&L to ensure financial health and sustainable growth. Monitor revenue streams, cost structures, and margins across service lines. Make strategic decisions to optimize profitability (e.g., pricing models, cost controls). Collaborate with finance to forecast, budget, and assess financial performance. Ensure operational decisions align with financial goals and shareholder expectations.
Operational Planning and Management. Develop annual and quarterly operational plans aligned with company strategy based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience. Coordinate across departments (e.g., service delivery, IT, customer success) to ensure alignment. Anticipate operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Operational Process Expertise/Interface. Deep understanding and ownership of core operational workflows and their integration across teams and systems.
Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommend the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps. Defines KPIs and OKRs for the team, tracked progress, and flagged issues
Escalation Management. Handle high-impact issues that require executive attention and cross-functional coordination. Serve as the final escalation point for critical service disruptions, customer complaints, or operational failures. Drive root cause analysis and resolution planning. Implement preventive measures to reduce recurrence.
Data Analytics and Reporting. Drive the construction of highly innovative statistical and financial models to new aspects of business performance. Build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting frameworks. Drive trends in service usage, customer behavior, and operational efficiency. Use data to identify opportunities for emerging markets
EDUCATION/WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field.
Experience managing P&L
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience
Desired: MBA
SKILLS:
Direct responsibility for P&L, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Ability to translate company vision into executable operational plans
Experience scaling operations in high-growth or transformation environments Strong aptitude in risk management – identifying and mitigating operational, financial, and compliance risks
Skilled in managing cross-functional initiatives and timelines
Ability to interpret operational data and derive actionable insights
Experience setting, tracking, and optimizing performance metrics
Proficiency with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
