Nursing Assistant - DOU - Full Time

Nursing Assistant in our Definitive Observation Unit (DOU) at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. Positions available are Full - Time and may include Day and Night shifts. You will work 12-hour shifts in this role. Schedule options can be discussed during interview.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, with direction from the Registered Nurse &/or LVN, this position is responsible for providing high quality, individualized basic care activities.

Required Qualifications: 

• Coursework/Training: Completion of Nursing Assistant course.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
• Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) 
• 1 year experience in acute care setting.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
