About the role
Purpose of Position
The Supervisor, Repair Station Materials is responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective supervision of the NJS145 LLC Supply operations. This includes purchasing, inventory, tooling and warehouse management. The Supervisor, Repair Station Materials provides direction and supervision to Union Stock Clerks assuring the highest level of safety, quality, inventory integrity and customer service in accordance with applicable company, local and federal regulations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensures team safety and compliance with all workplace safety, environmental and other applicable regulations.
- Provides strong leadership to team members through clear communication, motivation and encouragement. Maintains a positive, high-performance work environment and minimizes employee relations issues in a union work environment.
- Provides warehouse and inventory management including cycle counting, record keeping, purchasing, maintaining stock levels, shipping and receiving of aircraft parts, tooling and commissary products as required. Assures aircraft parts received have proper documentation.
- Supports existing relationships with internal/external customers, vendors, suppliers and establishes new relationships accordingly.
- Manages the payroll, attendance and required training of team members.

- Must be able to achieve and maintain Hazardous Shipping Certificate
- Must be able to pass FBI criminal background check for obtaining an airport AOA badge.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Associates Degree preferred
- Experience managing employees in and aviation environment under a collective bargaining agreement.
- Experience in aviation maintenance, planning, logistics and/or operations.
- Experience in inventory control and analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in international shipping and Customs practices.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
