Examples of duties
This role focuses on assisting customers with driver licensing needs while ensuring proper identification verification, testing procedures, and record updates. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:
- Customer Support: Greet customers, verify identification, and provide required forms and information
- Test Administration: Conduct knowledge tests and vision screenings using standardized tools
- Data Entry: Record test results and enter application information into on-line systems
- Service Guidance: Respond to customer questions and explain licensing requirements and options
- Record Processing: Prepare restoration requirement letters and ensure correct documentation for all transactions
- Compliance Tasks: Follow REAL ID regulations, fee waiver guidelines, and customer service policies

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel may be required
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
