Role Overview: We seek passionate Medical Assistants dedicated to health and wellness, and who prioritize patient care above all. The role involves meticulous management of electronic health records, lab orders, patient communication, and billing. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking, prioritization skills, and an ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely charting in electronic health records.
  • Managing lab orders and communicating effectively with the care team.
  • Addressing patient inquiries via phone or EHR messages.
  • Ensuring billing processes are handled efficiently.
  • Demonstrating exceptional critical thinking and prioritization skills.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma; Associate Degree preferred.

License/Certification:

  • Valid Medical Assistant certification.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).

Skills:

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with patients and care team.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy (Typing, Microsoft Office, EHR, lab ordering).
  • Self-driven and motivated.

Home Office Requirements:

  • HIPAA-compliant office setup.
