Duties: Plan and coordinate the establishment of field modification files and any other relevant documentation, necessary staffing, and the purchase of associated tools and materials. Validate field modification files including test procedures (complete, availability, validation). Ensure the timely deployment of all modifi-cations and optimize train downtime, in collaboration with Project Management, Product Introduction (PI) team, and the customer. Ensure the quality of the field modifications through selection of appropri-ate competences. Communicate to all parties regarding progress and configurations during the field modification deployment. Ensure deployment of the field modification to all relevant components and parts, including consignment stock and capital spares. Support PrPIM/PrWM in all field modification related matters. Integrate and enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules and associated work-related processes. Ensure the implementation of appropriate action plans in the event of any de-viation or non-conformity in perimeter of field modification implementation. Oversee supplier modifica-tion implementation if necessary. Ensure data management and updates regarding field modification are reported in the relevant tools. Performance measurements including QCD for field modification deploy-ment, availability of Rolling Stock after field modification deployment, customer acceptance, and quality level of final field modification. Coordinate warranty implementation activities (planning, resources, tools, and materials).
Position requires up to 15% travel (domestic).
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Transportation, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics) or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Product Introduction Field Modification Coordinator-related occupation.
