As a Project Manager II, you will be within PNC's Community Affairs organization, supporting PNC Foundation. You will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.The Project Manager II assists internal service partners within the markets in conducting philanthropic activities as well as assisting with various internal and external reporting needs. They will serve as the day-to-day contact for markets as assigned assisting with questions on grant making and processing issues. The Project Manager II will serve as the initial system approver for the PNC Foundation for grants reviewing to ensure PNC Foundation Process and Procedures are followed. Furthermore, they may assist in presentation preparation for senior management specifically focused on key initiatives as well as monthly and ad-hoc information related to data analytics needs including any information needed for third party surveys.
In addition to the job description below, candidates will also be responsible for the following:
• Acting as primary contact for assigned markets supporting their processing of philanthropic support.
• Reviewing required materials that assigned markets must maintain such as meeting agendas, minutes, evaluation reports, etc. so markets remain in compliance.
• Troubleshooting questions related to system processing and functionality
• Providing guidance on grant questions related to tax status, grant structure, etc.
• Periodically attending Local Market Foundation Meetings ensuring grant review procedures are followed.
• Managing multi-year grant tracking.
• Assisting with strategic projects and process enhancements, as well as employee matching gifts payout processing including monthly reconciliations.
• Participating in regular staff and other internal meetings and performing other duties as assigned.
• Preparing senior management presentations on key initiatives related to community commitments.
• Preparing data analytics for internal service partners and information for various surveysPNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Job Description
- Manages projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment. Accountable for meeting project objectives within established timeframes. May be assigned a single project or a portfolio, which require planning, oversight and communication across multiple segments. Typically, project size may reach or exceed $2.5m.
- Manages and allocates resources and organizes the work. Drafts and submits project budget proposals, and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary. Plans and schedules project timeliness and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Partners with internal project liaisons to acquire human and material resources, assigns tasks, directs activities, and controls project execution. Motivates and supervises project team members.
- Tracks and reports progress, analyzes the results based on facts, defines the products of the project, and forecasts future trends in the project. Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.
- Maintains communications for governing bodies and interested parties. Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
