Summary:
As a partner in building brighter futures for youth and their families, your role will lead the department’s daily operations while developing and executing strategic marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives that advance The Village Network’s mission and organizational priorities. Working closely with the Executive Vice President, you will translate strategy into cohesive marketing and communication efforts, provide leadership to departmental staff, oversee integrated projects, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. This role is essential to strengthening the organization’s brand, visibility, reputation, and community engagement while supporting growth and enhancing services for children, youth, and families.

Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management for departmental staff.
Develop and manage department workflow, establish priorities, and ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with organizational goals.
Develop and implement annual marketing and communications plans that support strategic initiatives.
Coordinate integrated marketing and communications campaigns across print, digital, social media, and public relations channels.
Develop and maintain an organizational communications calendar to coordinate messaging and campaigns.
Write, edit, and distribute press releases, website content, annual report content, and other organizational communications.
Develop proactive media strategies, cultivate relationships with local, regional, and statewide media outlets, and assist with crisis communication efforts as directed.
Ensure consistent application of The Village Network's brand standards across all materials.
Oversee organizational website content and digital communications strategies.
Lead development of social media strategy and monitor performance analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Oversee creative direction for graphic design, video, and photography.
