Who We Are:

 

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a part time System Engineer that resides in the Orlando Florida area.  This is a remote, part-time position with travel to the client site as often as required.   

 

As a System Engineer, you will work with the JPMRC-IS program to be at the forefront of transforming how the U.S. Army prepares its soldiers for the challenges of tomorrow’s battlefield. You will be responsible for modernizing and developing the Army’s next generation live training system, ensuring it aligns with the latest technical advancements and meets the evolving needs of our nation’s defenders. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing combat training realism and providing our soldiers with a competitive edge.
 

What You Will Do:

  • Utilize Agile Acquisition and Development practices within the government’s procurement processes and industry development processes
  • Responsible to define the Contract Data Requirements List deliverables in specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound means with the client and sub-contractors to ensure clarity of deliverable requirements 
  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analysis for both subsystems and the complete systems
  • Lead technical meetings between PEO STRI engineers and sub-contractor engineers for acceptance testing requirements; liaise between PEO STRI and sub-contractors for discrepancy resolution and track deliverables to completion through Government Acceptance Testing  
  • Analysis performed at all levels of total system product to include; concept design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

What We're Looking For:

 

  • DAWIA Program Manager level 3
  • 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
    • Intimate understanding of government contracting and procurement processes
    • Extensive experience working with the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command
    • Expert leadership and communication skills to ensur
