In this role, you will work alongside experienced maintenance professionals to keep our manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently. What You'll Do
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment.
Assist with diagnosing equipment issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to perform maintenance tasks safely and accurately.
Read and interpret basic equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and OSHA standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Organize and manage maintenance parts, tools, and materials.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and other departments to support production goals.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special maintenance projects.
Support team objectives by demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or related environment preferred.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and a desire to continue learning.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Ability to learn precision measuring techniques using tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 20 pounds.
Occasionally lift and move materials up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to safely perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
