We reward and recognize our employees based on our values of Aspire to Greatness, Respect All, Own It, Working Together, Persist with Passion.Who We’re Looking For:As a key member of the Gastroenterology team, the Field Support Specialist role performs Field Service work including but not limited to system installations, technical and clinical trainings along with Network and HL7 implementation. Provide daily technical & clinical support to all Laborie Medical Technologies GI customers, Sales Representatives, Clinical Consultants and LABORIE employees regarding Windows operating systems, desktop troubleshooting, in-house software and proprietary hardware related to Laborie medical devices and diagnostic equipment.About the Role:
- Troubleshoot customer issues via phone, email, or on-site visits while documenting and relaying all communications through our SAP ticketing system.
- Manage installation and training calendar with field service team as well as the local account and/or sales manager to ensure tickets are closed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with customer IT representatives to install networking software and assist with EMR/HL7 integration.
- Travel up to 70% (12-14 business days per month). Occasional weekend, trade show and conference attendance required.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A) in information technology or similar field; in lieu of degree, equivalent work experience may be acceptable.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT, medical field service, or BioMedical.
- Valid US Drivers License.
- Able to lift and move items up to 75 pounds.
