About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a direct hire, long-term opportunity in Norco, LA/San Diego, CA.
Company Specializations: JPCP, LCB, Rapid Set Concrete Pavement, Concrete Barriers, Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement, and Minor Concrete (Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk).
Pay: $80k-110k (depending on experience) OR let us know what you desire. Plus, Per diem and Quarterly Bonus!

Shift: Night (7 pm to 4 am)

Responsibilities for Project Engineer:

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for concrete projects-barriers, highways, paving, rapid set etc
Review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) and interpret design intent in the field.
Serve as a liaison between the employer and contractors, consultants, and local agencies
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Project Engineer:

Preferred 4-year degree in a construction or engineering field,
2-3 years of Project Engineering Experience
Concrete background a mandatory
Experience working on Caltrans projects highly desired
Must be able to travel to projects around the SoCal. Per Diem is available. Also, Hotel stay, if desired, is covered.
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
