What you’ll be doing:
Business Credit Controls Specialist is responsible for supporting the bank’s loan portfolio management.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site in our Chicago, IL office anywhere between two to three days a week.
How you'll succeed
Entering financial statements into Moody's CreditLens (financial statement spreadsheet application)
Processing loan covenant submissions using the bank’s proprietary system, RM Central, by verifying that the correct documents are submitted and determining whether calculated covenants meet the required threshold.
Providing support to other areas of the Credit Risk Management department.
Must possess an interest in commercial loan portfolio management
Must be detail and process oriented with strong critical thinking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required, including analytical skills/spreadsheet experience
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team
Prior experience or internship in financial institution is a plus
College Degree required; 3.0 GPA preferred

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $61,000K - $65,000K for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
