Our flagship product, fantasy football leagues, serves over 6 million users. We've since added fantasy basketball, daily fantasy sports, and more. Our team continuously innovates, bringing new games, social features, and extended functionality.

Responsibilities

• Lead our football fantasy editorial strategy, content development, and editorial voice. 

• Produce exceptional content including breaking news, fantasy recommendations, and original longform stories that impact fantasy football.

• Work with our editorial team to produce fantasy sports news for our newsletter and social media channels

• Leverage written, video, and audio when appropriate to connect with our growing fantasy audience. 

• Beyond football, develop sports content related to basketball, baseball, and other sports categories that interest you.

• Maintain a safe and respectful community atmosphere within the Sleeper app

Minimum Qualifications

• At least five years experience in digital sports media/journalism.

• Minimum three years producing fantasy sports content.

• Strong news sense and AP style knowledge required.

• Keen eye for prioritizing content and spotting emerging trends and storylines on social media.

• Demonstrated ability to cross-collaborate and work well in a team setting.

Certain locations in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the base salary range and/or a general description of benefits and other compensation applicable to the role.

For this role in those locations, a reasonable estimate of the base salary range for new hires is 75k-95k USD annually, plus benefits including Medical, Dental, PTO, 401k.
