Clinical Pharmacist Full Time Rotate

Position Summary:

Provides services to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff. Responsible for providing all aspects of pharmaceutical care assuring a positive patient outcome. The Pharmacists must be skilled in screening for all age/dosage/disease dependent variations and be alert for improper dosages, drug interactions, and play a major role in drug monitoring. This person shall possess excellent communication skills and be an active participant with physicians and fellow health care workers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Able to assess patients and provide safe and reliable drug distribution and patient and family education

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Minimum: BS-Pharmacy

Preferred: PharmD degree

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: Previous hospital pharmacy experience.

Preferred: Three (3)years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

Current Florida Pharmacist Licensure

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in hospital or related health facility
