JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology, is looking to hire Senior Learning Assistants (LA) to provide support to Biology courses overseen by Teaching Faculty during the 2024-2025 academic year. These positions will be supervised by Carly Sjorgen. The LA will help faculty organize coursework, explain biology concepts to students, and hold office hours and/or review sessions. Preference will be given to full-time registered Penn State students who have successfully completed the course for which they will be assisting (BIOL 230W). Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as the need arises.
