This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Role Overview
Responsible for the design, implementation, operational support of Comcast’s Backbone Peer interconnects services. Provides real time analysis, design, testing, and operations of internet protocol router networks, etc. Also, act as a Liaison between various entities and Customers to offer unique technical solutions as needed. Complies with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies, and procedures.
Co-op responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Primary role will be supporting several internal teams in the coordination and implementation of network automation requests for network design in support of Comcast’s objectives for the Backbone network.
- Building Ci/CD pipeline
- Adapting Test Driven development
- Building Data Analytical dashboards
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity of Python web framework preferably.
- Working knowledge of multi-threading architecture
- Fundamental understanding of front-end technologies AJAX, HTML
- Familiarity with the database schemas to represent and support business operations
- Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
- Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2025, through March 27, 2026.
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Base Pay: $32.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
