Job Summary:

The Spa Receptionist at Red Mountain Resort is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless spa experience. Reporting to the Spa Manager, this role provides exceptional customer service, maintains smooth front desk operations, and supports daily spa administration. The Spa Receptionist plays a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment that enhances each guest’s relaxation and rejuvenation journey.

 

Job Specifications:

Onsite: Red Mountain Resort – Sagestone Spa

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time

Pay Rate: $15 - $16/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities

· Greet and welcome guests, providing a warm and professional first impression.

· Manage spa reservations, scheduling appointments for massages, facials, and other wellness treatments.

· Maintain accurate guest records and update profiles with preferences and special requests.

· Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

· Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling payments and confirming service details.

· Provide information on spa services, pricing, and promotions, guiding guests toward the best experiences for their needs.

· Assist in retail sales of spa products, educating guests on skincare and wellness items.

· Ensure the spa front desk and lobby areas are clean, stocked, and welcoming.

· Coordinate with spa therapists and providers to ensure smooth appointment flow.

· Uphold privacy and confidentiality standards for all spa guests.

· Support special spa events and wellness programs, assisting with setup and guest coordination.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, customer service, or hospitality role, preferably in a spa or wellness environment.

· Strong communication and organizational skills with a guest-first mindset.

· Experience with spa booking systems, POS software, and scheduling platforms preferred.

· Ability to multi-task and handle high-volume appointment scheduling efficiently.

· Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness services, and luxury hospitality standards is a plus.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on spa operations.
