Production Planning Expert
Overall mission:
You will manage the daily operations of the production planning function for the Mako site while leading, developing, growing a team of 5-6 planners. You will combine hands-on planning responsibilities with leadership, talent development, and process improvement to ensure efficient, reliable, and standardized planning operations that align with production goals. You will be located in Makó and report to the Planning Manager.
You will:

Lead the planning team, promoting skill growth, cross-training, and succession planning

Identify and address competency gaps, ensuring all team members can back each other up when needed

Oversee daily, weekly MTO (make to order) and MTS (make to stock) planning for the product portfolio

Confirm delivery dates with Customer Care and manage expedition of urgent orders to meet customer needs

Issue and release process orders at the right time with complete and accurate documentation, ensuring raw material availability

Manage capacity constraints in close collaboration with production

Improve stock levels according to regional planning proposals and parameter settings (e.g., safety stock, lot size)

Improve standardization of REU management, planning parameter reviews, and first-time-right process order creation

Handle non-conforming production batches, expired batches, and plan rework/reblending orders

Implement continuous improvement programs and cost savings projects.

Ensure information flow with Quality, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Raw Material Request Planners, and Regional Planning

Communicate regarding delays, changes, and production priorities
You:

University or College degree
-
Solid experience in production planning and inventory management.

Track record in leading teams, with a focus on development and performance management
-
Proficiency in SAP
-
Fluency in English (written and verbal form), native Hungarian knowledge
